Nyari and i have been friends for years, way before we were both married and now surrounded with children. This session was refreshing, easy and fun. As i snapped away, i saw Nyari as a woman who has come from far and with hard work and determination, she has become a power house in her own right. She is a lawyer, farmer, entrepreneur and a mother to three amazing children. Look at how gorgeous she is! She inspires me in so many ways. I have seen how she has worked hard to build and acquire what she desires. She is surely a woman worth emulating.
Personal portrait sessions allow me to show my clients the beauty they posses from the inside which radiates to the outside. I am a firm believer of self love and radiating positive energy to all i meet. It was an honour doing this for my friend. See how she shined right through the session with these images. Thank you Nyari for the wonderful time!

One thing that has brought me so much joy and fulfillment as a photographer has been the ability to work with different women. As a woman, i relate to each of my clients differently. Some as fellow woman entrepreneurs, others as mothers, and others still as daughters and sisters. I cannot begin to describe the satisfaction that i get after delivering the finalized images from photoshoots to my clients. The satisfaction and the joy in their hearts is priceless and i would not trade those moments for anything.
Mrs Sweenley had contacted me from Ireland and requested a portrait session. We got the theme, setup and outfits ready and off we went! Guys, the entire shoot in Harare was just amazing! She radiated such grace and beauty. Can you see how gorgeous she is! Her laughter was infectious and she had us all bent over laughing throughout the shoot!
Enjoy these images from the session we had. I highly recommend portrait sessions for every woman as they allow you to see yourself for who you are - flaws and all. They also give you a brand new appreciation of your journey and allow you to reflect on the future with fresh eyes and hope.

I must say one of the things i love about my job is the ability to meet amazing people. Not only do i capture images of them that will forever be remembered, but they too inspire me in so many ways. I have met amazing families, individuals, entrepreneurs who significantly left an impact on me.
I was honoured to meet this amazing lady on this day. Her daughter had organised a birthday shoot for her in honour of her 50th birthday. Boy was i shocked to see her! she looked nothing like 50. Her energy was ON! she gracefully carried herself and she made us laugh the entire shoot. I loved her sense of humour, it made it easy for both of us.
I got to know her as we went through the session and i saw her love for God, family and people. She is a lady with a big heart. She left me inspired to work harder and pursue the things my heart has desired. At her age, she exhudes youthfulness and so much wisdom. I must say it was in deed an honour capturing these memories for you and your family. Cheers to plenty more years ahead!

The first time i met Millicent, i knew right away she was going to be fun working with. I personally believe that having your portraits taken with a professional photographer is important (and i am not only saying this because i am a photographer). Especially for women, it is a wonderful way for us to see ourselves and our beauty the way other people see us. Some days, it is hard to look into the mirror and uphold that confidence. But having someone who sees you as nothing but beautiful and is able to photograph you in a way that is able to show you that beauty, is an amazing experience.
I believe that personal portraits are important because it is you giving yourself permission to dress up, look good and go ahead and take some photos to prove it. Women have a tendency to put everyone else before ourselves. Often, we push away the idea that we are beautiful and deserve to have our photos taken exactly as we are. As a photographer, i constantly remind myself that my job is to do more than snap the shutter. When i create a photo, I am making more than a piece of paper with an image on it, I am giving someone a tangible piece of time….something that can never be recovered and is priceless. When that is put into perspective, it becomes easy to see why photographs are so vital.
Finally i can say that our time on earth is limited. Portraits provide an invaluable way of making our brief time on earth everlasting. This gives our future generations something beautiful to remember us and we have something meaningful to leave them; pieces of our story.
Here are a few images from my session with Millicent. I must say she was worth my while. She was a natural and i barely had to give direction. Can you imagine she is a mother of 3! she is definitely #Goals. Thank you Millicent for the time.
